Mark Santos is an accomplished Board Director and business and thought leader with more than 30 years of executive experience across the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. As a certified pharmacist and having achieved a leadership position very early in his career, he found his passion for oncology. He gained patient experience as a chemotherapy compounding pharmacist in a private practice, then moved to a leadership role at Montgomery Cancer Center in Montgomery, Alabama. He then joined the startup phase of what became ION Solutions GPO in 2001 and became its President in 2009. ION achieved and maintained the position of market leader in its field during his tenure. Mr. Santos’ areas of expertise include operational strategies, fiscal management, personnel management, business development, new product and services development, and deployment and implementation of long-term expansion and revenue growth initiatives.
