David Barrett

David Barrett was previously Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Assembly Biosciences, Inc. from 2010 to 2018. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance of Overture Asset Managers & Financial Services. From July 1999 to September 2003, he served as a Manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Previously he was a Director of Fortress Biotech, Inc. from May 2011 to July 15, 2015. Mr. Barrett is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Barrett received his B.S. in Accounting and Economics in May of 1998 and his M.S. in Accounting in May of 1999 from the University of Florida.
